IF I COULD FLY

If I could fly...

when we play tag
I could just lie on the roof
until the bell rings.

In races

I could soar...
to the finish line.

After school

I would go to the Eiffel Tower
and sit there...
                until I was on the news.

Then I would jump off and

fly into the night sky
like an owl.


I WISH I HAD SUPERPOWERS

I wish I was invisible...
              that way, I could do what I want when I want.

I wish I could fly...
I would go to every country in the world.

I wish I had superhuman strength
so I could lift buildings
and cars
             and open the pickle jar.
