The Evil Chef

Elemental Fairy Tale
Our writing group was challenged to write a fairy tale which had to include four elements which they were given at random. Anthony wrote a brilliant story - which included the words GIANT, RING, VILLAGE and MARVELLOUS FEAST. Enjoy!

THE EVIL CHEF

Once there was a giant named Oak, who was preparing a meal for the City of Rings.  The City of Rings was peaceful until the evil chef came along.

The giant roamed the streets helping the people of Rings by moving their trailers and lots of other stuff around the village. The evil chef went about collecting food from the enchanted forest.

One day the chef got sick of serving the giant and set out to kill him after so many years of serving him food.   He came up with a plan for a marvellous feast for the evening tea and pudding.   His menu consisted of a mouth watering pork belly with crackling, then there was a chocolate mudcake with a chocolate sauce. The secret ingredient was poisoned flour which was in the pudding.

When it came to have the pudding the giant smelt something that he didn’t recognise so he said to the chef, “You eat it first, then I will have a piece.”

The chef was thought that if he didn’t eat a piece he might be shamed or he would be killed by the giant.

So the chef ate a piece of the cake then he suddenly he started to spew up on the floor.  His hands were shaking, he began to wobble then he collapsed.

The giant lived happily ever after and the chef, well let's just say no one ever saw him again.
