We went on a ginko

Some of the junior members of our Russley Writers' Club went on a ginko - a poetry walk. A true ginko is a walk with haiku writers ('haiku' is a special form of poetry), usually held at the start of a season or in a special time in a season, in a chosen place. During the walk the poets take in the sights, sounds and smells of their surroundings, and write notes or make sketches. These notes are then used by the poets to create their poem.

Here are some photos of our writers on our ginko. Although our poems weren't haiku, they were about nature (Autumn themed) and Mrs Koster was very impressed! We will add the poems soon.
