Me
I come from a place with green trees,
cicadas hissing.
November, my birthday month is so warm and wet-
the season before summer.
I eat lasagne, steamy and hot.
I like turquoise,
the leaves, the sea,
mmmmmm…. peppermints.
I draw like Tom Gates,
I love riding my bike
around the neighbourhood.
Friday finally,
I get to stay up later than usual.
My Mum and Dad are the most important things in my life.
I love my family to bits!
