Dripping Lemon

I am butter softly melting,
Dandelions waving like flags the in the wind,
I am sweet, sticky honey,
Sour lemon juice dripping,
I am warm sunrays blazing

I sound like a bee’s buzz,
I taste of smooth lemon curd and

Crunchy caramel popcorn

My Best Friend

Her hair is dark chocolate melting
Her eyes are brown bullets
Her nose is a mound of clay
Her lips are a radio
Her shoulders are hills
Her arms are long snakes
Her legs are springs
Her personality is sweet and sour sauce
Her heart is a gumdrop

Waves

When I hear the waves
crashing on the shore
I feel my toes
smacking on the sand
I feel my hair
being tugged at by the rushing wind
It is a drum being pounded upon
And the slosh of a horse's saliva
It is a flowing river’s song
