Connor Turner's wonderful description of a raging giant was published in Toitoi 12. His copies of the journal were delivered to school last week and devoured by our Russley Writers!
The accompanying illustrations by 12 year old Bridget Fowler are amazing! Connor's story was inspired by a picture card from the creative board game, DIXIT (illustrated by artist Marie Cardouat). Bridget had not seen the card, and created her representation of the giant purely from Connor's written description. Look at the photos below and I'm sure you'll be blown away by how similar the two illustrations are! This is a real testament to both Connor and Bridget's creative talent and attention to detail. Outstanding work!
