shimmering stars
as far as the eye can see
raging sun invades the night
colossal craters scattered across  planets

darkness
engulfs me like a warm blanket
black holes stealing stars
sweltering mars like an infinite desert

determined rockets hurtle into the abyss
mysterious  creatures scuttle across earth

space
a wasteland of beauty
