Congratulations to the winning writers in our 2021 Russley Writers' Walk Competition!
It was a wonderful celebration today, very fitting that it was also International I Love to Write Day - 15 November.
How wonderful to have our judges, Belinda O'Keefe and Bill Nagelkerke there to congratulate the students, and award the winning writers with their panels. The Writers' Walk panels will be displayed around our school grounds for everyone to enjoy.
Well done to all who took the plunge and entered the competition this year. Bill and Belinda were impressed with the very high standard of entries and found it a difficult task to pick just a few. Special mention to Amelia Grundy, who was the overall winner of the Senior section, and to joint winners of the Junior section, Chene W and Willow R.
